When it comes to being prepared for diet, making an easy meal in the instant pot is the best way. This easy instant pot Shredded BBQ Chicken is a great way to meal prep. In our household we do our best to meal prep every Sunday. Being prepared for the week is how we are successful on a keto diet. We treat eating keto life a lifestyle, because it has changed our lives and makes us feel great.
Instant Pot Shredded BBQ Chicken
Making meals in the instant pot has become one of my favorite ways to cook. If you don’t have one I highly recommend getting one. Lauren got me one for our anniversary last year and it has now become my main kitchen accessory. This post is not sponsored by the maker of this kitchen accessory, I just love it! I have found it to be the best way to meal prep my foods for the week. You can also make this low carb shredded BBQ chicken in a slow cooker as well. I would recommend slow cooking it for about six plus hours.
I put this easy and delicious meal on a low carb tortilla with cheese and more BBQ sauce on top. This recipe would be great on a low carb bun or bread as well. You can even put this on a lettuce boat or whatever you would like. Shredded BBQ chicken would even be delicious by its self.
Meal Prep is easy when it’s made in an Instant Pot
It is warming up outside and we have had some hot days here in New Mexico. We love spending our days outside with the grill going. Here are some meal prep recipes to add to your week:
- 5 3oz Chicken Breasts
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce
- 1 tbs Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tsp Pink Salt
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- Add the oil into the Instant Pot then add the rest of the ingredients.
- Select Manuel and set for 60 minutes.
- When done let it sit for about 10 minutes.
- Release the rest of the pressure.
- Shred the chicken with forks and mix well.
- Serve on a low carb tortilla, low carb bread etc.
