The best way to start your morning is with a delicious fatty coffee. This recipe has become a new favorite for my daily routine. But since starting keto I have always made fatty coffee for my morning. With it being the holiday season I didn’t want to feel left out. With all the Starbucks Holiday drinks, so I made this delicious coffee to start my day.
For this recipe you will need a Peppermint Oil. We use DoTerra and we absolutely LOVE their products (this is not sponsored at all we just love the company). Same for Perfect Keto, we absolutely love using their MCT powder in our coffee to get the extra energy boost.. If you do not have these products that is perfectly fine you can use any MCT oil or powder. Or you can use coconut oil and for the peppermint you can use an extract.
The benefits of fatty coffee in the morning is the great energy boost as well as the high fat content to get your day started. Of course a fatty coffee is not necessary in a ketogenic diet but we love this in our keto way of eating.
- 1 tbs Butter
- 1 scoop MCT Oil Powder
- 1 drop Peppermint Essential Oil
- 1 tbs Heavy Cream
- 6 cups Fresh Brewed Coffee
- Brew the coffee.
- Add all the ingredients to your blender and mix well.
- Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy!
