Immune Boost Tea

You may have seen a lot of different recipes for this one. Some call it Golden Milk. I love this tea due to the amazing benefits of everything in it. We wanted to make this recipe to show how we like to make it, and make it taste amazing. I will list some of the benefits that are said turmeric tea to have below.

  • Reduces inflammation in the body

  • The antioxidants may prevent damage that causes Alzheimer & Cancer

  • Helps reduce bad Cholesterol

  • Boosts the immune system

  • Help prevent liver damage and manage liver conditions, gallstones

  • Treat and manage lung conditions

  • Prevent and manage diabetes

  • Slow or prevent blood clots

  • Reduces depression

  • Skin health

With all of the amazing benefits of turmeric, it is known to be good and safe for adults to have up to 600 milligrams of pure turmeric powder three times daily, or 1 to 3 grams daily of  turmeric root. I know that after all of the research I have done for this blog post I will certainly be drinking this much more often. I would personally recommend drinking this, especially if you like the taste!

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Water
  • 1 tea bag Ginger Tea (or 1/4 root)
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper (this activates the turmeric)
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Pink Salt
  • 2 tbs Heavy Cream
  • 5-10 drops Stevia
  • 2 tbs Butter

Instructions
 

  • Put water in a sauce pan, bring to a simmer
    Add in turmeric, ginger, and black pepper
    Bring to a boil for about 10 minutes
    Add in the rest of the seasonings, and let boil for a couple minutes
    Strain into a cup
    Optional - Blend all of the ingredients then poor into desired cup
    Add in heavy cream and stevia
    Sprinkle a little bit of cinnamon on top and you're all set!
