How to make Chicken Pesto?

It is so easy to make this recipe! Just follow these steps. You can see the full ingredients and instructions in the recipe card at the bottom of this post. You are also going to want to make – How to Make Basil Pesto to go along with this recipe.

  • Add 1 tbs of olive oil to a skillet on medium heat.
  • Lay your chicken breasts on the skillet and season one side of the chicken breasts with half the seasoning.
  • Cook for about 5 minutes then flip and season with the rest of the seasoning. Cook for about another 5 minutes. You want the chicken to be at a temp of about 165 degrees F.
  • Set aside and let it rest.
  • Now for the pesto! Add all of the ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until everything is combined well and smooth.
  • Slice your chicken into strips and drizzle about two tbs of the pesto over the chicken.
  • Serve with a side salad, or roasted broccoli, roasted brussels sprouts or cauliflower rice.
